David J. Yendall

David started his career with Cleveland County Council, between 1980 & 1990. It was here that he gained valuable experience in the various teams forming a municipal authority including bridge maintenance, bridge design, building maintenance, highway design, construction and traffic management.
In 1990 he progressed to Richard Wilson Associates to concentrate on the design of building structures for industrial, commercial, leisure, retail and educational developments progressing to chartered status in 1991.
David then became area structural engineer for the North East Building division of Mowlem PLC (now Carillion) in 1993 where he was responsible for the in-house civil and structural design for Design and Build contracts. His role included acting as technical advisor/co-ordinator. A post graduate diploma in Business Excellence was also completed during this period.
David returned to practice as a consultant in the year 2000 re-joining former colleagues at Glyn H. Robinson Associates Ltd.. David is ultimately responsible for a diverse range of projects in his usual workload. This has included many office villages and industrial parks throughout the region and recently a fabrication facility for offshore wind farm foundations on Teesside with a project value of 20M.
In May 2012 David began the practice Yendalls Engineering Ltd.
R. Stuart Willis – Consultant
C.Eng., M.I.Struct.E
Stuart started his career in heavy engineering at Redpath Dorman Long in 1965 detailing and later designing major projects such as power stations, steelworks and bridges. In 1974 he became Resident Engineer for Dobbie Sandford Fawcett on a major civil engineering project, the A19 Tees Viaduct involving significant reinforced concrete and associated temporary works, culminating in him obtaining chartered status in 1975.
He then returned to the design office at Richard Wilson Associates to develop his design skills as a structural engineer utilising most materials in buildings, structures and civil engineering projects.
Stuart extended his experience with Paterson Zochonis, spending several years in Nigeria, predominantly in the Lagos area, where he was responsible for the design of many building projects and structures.
On his return to Richard Wilson Associates in 1983, Stuart developed his current Client and project team relationships in the region, working on the numerous civil/structural schemes with a project value up to £4.0M.
In 1996, Stuart became a director at Glyn H. Robinson Associates, where he is solely responsible for projects from concept to completion in the commercial, retail, educational, industrial and retail sectors. Stuart was the Principal Engineer for the £15M Seaham harbour relocation facility. In July 2012 Stuart became a consultant at Yendalls Engineering Ltd.
